If you are looking for your own place to stay, Condado and Old San Juan are the ideal areas to stay in within the City of San Juan for this weekend. Both areas have dozens of hotels and Airbnb's and there's options for any kind of budget.

We also put together a list of some Airbnb's to consider here!

Condado
-
The Condado area of San Juan is filled with beachfront hotels, restaurants, and nightlife.

-
The neighborhood is very walkable and designed for tourists. You're never more than a block away from a coffee shop or convenience store. Ideal family-friendly zone.

-
Some of the best restaurants and food around here.

-
Perfect beach town vibes. 100/10

old san juan
-
Old San Juan (Viejo San Juan) is the historic district of the city: 500-year-old landmarks, cobblestone streets, and rainbow colored houses. There's tons of art, bars, cute little boutiques, and a ton of the must-see places are here.

-
Also a very touristy area, though many of the homes & hotels here are in historic buildings. Lots of charm, just less modern. Stunning ocean views, but you won't get the "resort" feel over here.

-
If you're a true travel geek, stay here. You won't regret it. 1000/10.

Each area has a different feel, but both neighborhoods are tourist friendly, safe and have plenty of things to do.

Condado and Old San Juan are only a 10-15 minute drive apart, though Old San Juan does get more traffic. Regardless of where you stay, you won't be far from other guests.
The earlier you book, the more affordable your stay can be. Let us know once you've made your travel arrangements. :)
